- SOMBRA pieces are legally certified by INCM - Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, S.A. (Lisbon Assay Office).
- This entity guarantees the authenticity of the precious metal by verifying the legal fineness (the proportion of precious metal per thousand parts in an alloy) and by applying the official hallmarks (assay mark and responsibility mark).

Legal Framework and Transparency
Portuguese law establishes that the application of hallmark stamps is mandatory only for silver pieces weighing more than 2 grams and gold pieces weighing more than 0.5 grams. Whether your piece requires mandatory hallmarking or is a lower-weight creation, we ensure total rigor in the materials used.
